Banjarsari

Banjarsari is an administrative district in Surakarta that contains fifteen distinct neighborhoods connected by major transportation hubs. The area includes the Mangkunegaran Palace and multiple road networks that link to surrounding neighborhoods.

Before Indonesia's independence, this district held a distinct status as part of the Mangkunegaran principality while other areas fell under Kasunanan control. This historical division influenced how the region developed and organized itself over time.
