Pura Dasar Buana Gelgel

Pura Dasar Buana Gelgel is a Hindu temple organized in three main zones that flow from the outer edge toward the inner sanctuary. The outer area is marked by old banyan trees, the middle section contains pavilions and smaller shrines, and the inner space holds multiple altars arranged in careful order.

The temple was founded in 1267 to honor Mpu Ghana, a key teacher who brought Hindu teachings to Bali. This early establishment made it a foundational place of worship in the region.
