480 Queen Street, Office tower in Brisbane, Australia

480 Queen Street is a 153-metre premium-grade office tower in Brisbane's central business district, designed by BVN Architecture and built by Grocon with Dexus. Its floor plates reach up to 2,800 square metres, about twice the size of other premium CBD towers, and level four holds Hobbs Park, a 1,400-square-metre area with river views open to tenants and the public.

480 Queen Street was approved by Brisbane City Council in September 2012. Construction began in April 2013 and was due for completion by early 2016. It was developed and built by Grocon with Dexus, following Grocon's Common Ground housing project in South Brisbane and an office building for the Australian Taxation Office at 55 Elizabeth Street.

Hobbs Park on level four is open to the public as well as to tenants, and its position keeps the river views from the St John's Cathedral grounds intact. The ground, second and fourth levels hold 1,600 m2 of retail space for food and drink outlets serving the wider precinct.

The building is well-equipped for commuters with bicycle storage and shower facilities. Visitors can find dining and shopping options spread throughout multiple levels of the structure.

Hobbs Park, a 1,400-square-metre landscaped area with river views on level four, is open to the public as well as tenants. Its placement keeps the river views from the St John's Cathedral grounds open, and a separate tree grove sits on level 31.
