Church House, Brisbane

Church House sits on Ann Street with a steep gable roof, stone and brick walls, and narrow pointed-arch windows characteristic of its period. The structure includes wrought iron railings and reinforced concrete balconies that were added during later modifications.

The Church of England purchased the Ann Street property in 1899 and construction of the office building began several years later. The structure was completed in 1909, expanding the Anglican Diocese's administrative presence in Brisbane.
