Montclair College Preparatory School was a private school in Van Nuys serving students in grades 9 through 12. The campus included classrooms, art studios, sports facilities, and common areas where students could work together on projects.
The school was founded in 1956 by Vernon E. Simpson and operated as an independent institution in the San Fernando Valley for decades. It closed in 2012 after more than 50 years of serving students.
Students participated in numerous activities including yearbook production, newspaper publishing, science journals, and literary magazines to develop their communication skills.
