Integratron, Dome structure in Landers, United States.
The Integratron is a white domed building in Landers, San Bernardino County, built entirely from wood without any metal nails or screws. The construction measures roughly 110 feet (34 meters) across and in height and features a circular interior with smooth wooden walls.
Aviation engineer George Van Tassel began building this structure in 1959 and worked on it until his death in 1977. He designed the construction using principles of sacred geometry and advanced carpentry methods.
Visitors attend sound baths where quartz crystal bowls produce a deep tone that echoes through the wooden dome. These sessions take place in a circular room where participants lie on the floor and listen to the vibrations.
The building sits in the middle of the Mojave Desert and requires advance booking for any sound bath session. Visitors should reserve early as sessions often sell out weeks ahead.
The dome stands on a magnetic anomaly in the desert that Van Tassel specifically chose for this site. He believed this geological feature would amplify the acoustic properties of the space.
