General George S. Patton Memorial Museum, Military museum in Chiriaco Summit, California.

The General George S. Patton Memorial Museum stands at the entrance of Camp Young, headquarters of Patton's 3rd Armored Division, part of the WWII Desert Training Center. Exhibits include a large collection of tanks from World War II and the Korean War, memorabilia from Patton's life and from soldiers who trained there, and displays on the Colorado River Aqueduct and natural science. A 26-minute film covers Patton's service and the training center's creation.

The museum stands at the entrance of Camp Young, headquarters of Patton's 3rd Armored Division and part of the Desert Training Center. Patton was ordered in March 1942 to build the training grounds to prepare troops for North Africa; Camp Young opened that year and closed in 1944. The center covered 18,000 square miles, and over one million men trained at its eleven sub-camps, seven of them in California.
