City of Moreton Bay

The City of Moreton Bay is a local government area north of Brisbane that combines coastal villages, rural regions, and suburban neighborhoods. It spans a large territory in southeastern Queensland with diverse landscapes and settlement types.

The region was formed in 2008 when three separate local government areas merged into one unified entity. This consolidation brought together communities that had previously operated under different administrations.
