New Village Leadership Academy was a private elementary school in Calabasas that served students from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. The school combined mathematics, literacy, Spanish, karate, yoga, robotics, and technology into an integrated curriculum for its students.
The school was founded in 2008 when an investor provided approximately 890,000 dollars to transform the former Indian Hills High School campus into an elementary facility. It operated for only a few years before closing in June 2013.
The school implemented multiple educational approaches, including Study Technology, Montessori education, Gardner methods, and Bruner techniques to support student development.
The facility offered different learning approaches to support various learning styles among its students. Students had access to modern resources and supplementary activities as part of their daily school experience.
