First Church of Christ, Scientist, Classical Revival church building in Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, US.

The First Church of Christ, Scientist is a neoclassical structure on Biscayne Boulevard featuring white stone and symmetrical columns along its facade. The building displays classical architectural elements throughout its exterior that give it a formal and balanced appearance.

Architect August C. Geiger designed this structure in 1925 as a notable example of Classical Revival architecture in downtown Miami. Its construction marked a time when religious institutions invested in permanent, impressive buildings.

The building reflects a period when Christian Science found a home in Miami and shaped the spiritual life of the community. The structure was designed as a space where visitors would feel a sense of order and purpose in their surroundings.

The structure is located on Biscayne Boulevard and is easily visible from the street. Note that the location is now in private ownership, so public access or tours may not be available.

The building no longer serves as a place of worship and was sold in 2013 for commercial use. Despite this change in purpose, the structure has kept its original architectural character and continues to impress observers with its classical beauty.
