One Thousand Museum, Residential skyscraper in Downtown Miami, United States
One Thousand Museum is a residential tower in Downtown Miami standing about 210 meters tall across 62 floors, defined by continuous curved patterns in white fiberglass-reinforced concrete. The building houses apartments ranging from townhouses to full-floor units, along with a pool deck and spa facilities.
The building was completed in 2020 based on a design by Zaha Hadid Architects, conceived before her death in 2016. It represents the first realization of this acclaimed architect in the Western Hemisphere.
The building shapes the Downtown Miami skyline and sits near the Pérez Art Museum, making it part of a neighborhood defined by art and contemporary design. Residents and visitors experience here the intersection of residential architecture and cultural activity.
The tower offers limited public access since it is primarily a residential building, but its proximity to Museum Park gives good views of the architecture from outside. Visitors can admire the facade and profile from various locations around the Downtown area.
The tower features a private helipad and an event space at its top with views over Biscayne Bay through the glass structure. This feature is uncommon for residential buildings in Miami and links air transport access with cultural gatherings.
