Towers on Capitol Mall

Towers on Capitol Mall is a skyscraper project in Downtown Sacramento designed as twin 53-story buildings reaching 615 feet (188 meters) in height. The development would have included 804 condominiums, a 200-room InterContinental Hotel, and retail spaces for international luxury brands.

Construction of the project began in 2006 but halted due to financial difficulties that emerged during the development phase. Major investors including CalPERS and Deutsche Bank withdrew their support as financial challenges mounted.
