Saint John Mountain

Saint John Mountain rises to 2,049 feet (6,249 meters) within the Mendocino National Forest, offering broad views across the surrounding ridges and valleys. From this vantage point, visitors can see across multiple mountain ranges that stretch into the distance.

The mountain served as a reference point for indigenous peoples long before European settlement in the region. Later it became documented as a geographic marker during California's early surveying and mapping efforts.
