Ts'ilʔos Provincial Park

The park spans 233,240 hectares across the Coast Mountains, featuring varied landscapes from glaciers to alpine meadows and lakes at high elevations.

The provincial park was established on February 12, 1994, following a five-year planning process addressing conflicts between preservation needs and resource extraction.

Mount Tatlow holds deep meaning for the Xeni Gwet'in people, who consider pointing at or climbing the mountain disrespectful according to their traditions.

Two access roads branch from Highway 20 into the northern region, leading to campgrounds at Gwa Da Ts'ih and Nu Chugh Beniz.

Chilko Lake within the park stands as the largest natural high-elevation freshwater lake in Canada, supporting sockeye salmon spawning grounds.
