Fallon Range Training Complex

The Fallon Range Training Complex spans 84,000 acres of land with four distinct training ranges and an integrated air defense system across Dixie Valley.

Since 1957, the facility has developed into a cornerstone of naval aviation training, leading to the establishment of the Continental Operations Range in the Great Basin.

The complex operates the prestigious TOPGUN fighter weapons school, where naval aviators receive advanced tactical instruction and combat preparation training.

The facility accommodates carrier air wing training activities with over 60 aircraft and support crews preparing for international deployments.

The range maintains thirty-seven real and simulated radar installations throughout its boundaries, enabling comprehensive electronic warfare training exercises.
