Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, Suspension bridge over Yangtze River in Wuhan, China.

The Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge is a suspension structure spanning 2,100 meters across the river, featuring two equal main spans that form a key transportation link in the city. The design supports vehicles and pedestrians moving between districts throughout the day.

Construction of this modern bridge began in 2011 and was completed in 2014, marking an important expansion of the city's transportation infrastructure. This development represented a major engineering project for the region.

The bridge takes its name from Yingwuzhou, meaning Parrot Island, a place referenced in ancient Tang dynasty poetry and regional literature. This name connects the structure to the area's literary heritage.

The bridge serves as part of the Second Ring Road's southern section and accommodates both vehicle lanes and a pedestrian path. Visitors can cross the river on foot and access different areas of the city from here.

The bridge features two main spans of identical length, a rare symmetrical engineering characteristic found in few modern bridges worldwide. This design choice remains visible and notable to anyone crossing the structure.
