Baku Slavic University is a higher education institution in the Azerbaijani capital that specializes in languages, humanities, and social sciences. The campus is made up of several buildings with classrooms, libraries, and study areas spread across a central urban location.
The institution was founded in 1946 as a teacher training institute and went through several name changes over the following decades. It received its current name and full university status in 2000.
