Altyaghach National Park

The national park encompasses diverse landscapes with forests, mountains, and meadows at an elevation of 941 meters in eastern Azerbaijan.

The national park, established in 2004, marked a significant advancement in Azerbaijan's environmental conservation efforts following the country's independence.

The surrounding communities maintain traditional practices connected to the natural environment, incorporating local customs into their daily interactions with the park.

The park provides marked trails for hiking and designated areas for wildlife observation, with convenient access from major transportation routes.

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, established in 2006, functions as the first facility of its kind in the South Caucasus region.
