Elliott Bridge, Steel and concrete bridge in Sirajganj, Bangladesh.

The Elliott Bridge spans 180 feet in length and rises 30 feet high over the Boral River, connecting two sections of Sirajganj city.

British engineer Stuart Hartland designed and constructed this bridge in 1892 during the governance of Charles Alfred Elliott, Lieutenant Governor of Bengal.

The bridge, known locally as Boropool, stands as a symbol of colonial engineering and represents a significant period in Bangladesh's infrastructure development.

Local authorities restrict heavy vehicles from crossing the bridge to maintain its structural integrity and ensure long-term preservation.

The arch structure contains no supporting pillars, allowing large cargo ships to pass underneath through the Boral River waterway.
