Park Hotel

The Park Hotel rises 24 floors with black granite from Shandong Province adorning its first three levels and dark brown brick covering the upper sections.

The Park Hotel, designed by architect László Hudec, opened in December 1934 and remained the tallest building in Asia until 1963, reaching a height of 83.8 meters.

The Park Hotel received national protection status as a Major Historical and Cultural Site, preserving its Art Deco architecture from the 1930s for future generations.

Located near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and People's Square, the hotel contains 200 rooms equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, and modern safety features.

The building includes a thirteenth-floor garden space that was converted into a banquet area in 1935, featuring a retractable roof for different event configurations.
