Huaihua

Huaihua is a city in Hunan province that stretches across roughly 27,500 square kilometers between the Wuyi and Xuefeng mountain ranges. The region is densely forested and offers a varied landscape with rivers and valleys.

The region originated as an administrative unit during the Warring States period and developed into a major trade crossroads. This role as a transportation junction between several Chinese provinces has shaped it ever since.
