Xujiahui Park, Urban park in Xuhui District, Shanghai, China.
Xujiahui Park is a green space in Xuhui District featuring a man-made river, black swans, and diverse trees including magnolias and camphor species. The grounds include basketball courts, a children's playground, and an elevated pathway that runs approximately 250 meters.
The site was originally a rubber factory before transforming into a public park in 2002. A red-brick building from that industrial period, which once housed Pathé Records, remains and is preserved as part of the park today.
The park serves as a gathering place where residents practice tai chi in the mornings and spend leisure time by the water. It draws people seeking to enjoy nature while remaining connected to the city around them.
The park is located adjacent to Xujiahui Metro Station, which connects to three lines and provides easy access. Visitors should know that pathways and facilities remain open year-round and can be used for various activities.
An elevated sky bridge spanning approximately 200 meters winds through the park and offers views of the meandering stream. The stream was actually designed to mirror the pattern of the nearby Huangpu River.
