Mount Erlang, Mountain summit in Sichuan, China.

Mount Erlang rises 3,437 meters above sea level, creating a natural boundary between the Qingyi River and Dadu River in Sichuan Province.

The mountain passage served as the first demanding section of the ancient Chuanzang Road connecting Sichuan to Tibet through challenging terrain.

Local communities celebrate the spring season when the mountain slopes display red, blue, purple, and white azaleas attracting numerous butterflies.

The 13,433-meter Erlangshan Tunnel, completed in 2018, provides year-round access through the mountain, bypassing areas prone to snowfall and storms.

Dense pine forests surround the mountain slopes, where the sounds of the Qingyi River mix with spring waters flowing through clear brooks.
