The site hosts the annual Kangding Love Song Festival since 2001, gathering performers and visitors to celebrate regional musical traditions.
The viewing point stands at 2,560 meters altitude and remains accessible from May through October when weather conditions permit clear visibility.
The area includes the Mugecuo Lakes system, featuring Seven-color Lake and multiple natural hot springs amid alpine landscapes.
