Zhongshan Wharf

Zhongshan Wharf is a ferry terminal positioned along the southern bank of the Yangtze River in Nanjing. The site includes a main terminal building and steel docking bridges that accommodate daily passenger traffic across the river.

The terminal was built in 1928 and took its current name in 1929 when it received Sun Yat-sen's remains during a major funeral procession to Nanjing. The location later served as a landing point during a significant military river crossing campaign in 1949.
