China Theatre is a theatre at 16 Xisanhuan North Road (Wanshou Temple A27) in Haidian District, Beijing. It was expanded from a rehearsal hall of the General Political Department Song and Dance Ensemble starting in June 1983 and equipped with a sliding and lifting mechanical stage, an orchestra pit, computer-controlled lighting, and sound recording systems.

The theatre was built as part of the development of Zizhuyuan Subdistrict, which received its current name in 1978 after previously being called Landianchang. This renaming marked a new chapter in the area's urban development.
