Beijing Planetarium, Astronomy education center in Zhanlanlu, China.

The Beijing Planetarium consists of two main buildings housing space theaters, exhibition halls, and advanced astronomical observation equipment for public viewing.

Established in 1957, this facility marked a milestone as China's first large-scale planetarium and remained the only one in Asia for many years.

The planetarium integrates traditional Chinese astronomical knowledge with modern space science through exhibits displaying ancient instruments and contemporary discoveries.

Visitors access the planetarium through Dongwuyuan Station on Line 4 of Beijing Subway, with admission tickets priced at 10 CNY for both exhibition halls.

The facility features a Foucault pendulum in the entrance hall demonstrating Earth's rotation through its continuous movement pattern from west to east.
