Disney Explorers Lodge, building in Disney Explorers Lodge, China
Disney Explorers Lodge is a hotel in the Islands District of Hong Kong located within the Disneyland Resort. The building has four wings, each representing a different region with its own themed gardens, decoration, and furnishings inspired by Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America.
The hotel opened in 2017 and is part of the second generation of accommodations at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Its design marked a new direction for Disneyland hotel concepts, focusing on global regions and exploration.
The lodge takes its name and design from global explorers and celebrates different continents throughout its spaces. Visitors see artwork and objects from Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America displayed to show how the world is represented in this place.
The hotel offers free WiFi throughout the property and provides an airport shuttle service for convenient arrival. Its location on Lantau Island makes it easy to access public transportation and explore the entire resort without difficulty.
The property houses approximately 700 different plant species in its gardens, and inside there are over 1000 art objects and artifacts from around the world. This collection makes the hotel itself a place of discovery, independent of the nearby theme parks.
