Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti is a region in western Georgia that covers mountainous terrain and contains villages with ancient defensive towers and fortifications. The main settlement of Zugdidi holds the Dadiani Palace complex, which includes several historic buildings, a church, and expansive grounds.
