Dhuandhar Falls

Dhuandhar Falls is where the Narmada River pours through narrow marble passages, creating strong currents and white water. The water crashes over and between light-colored rock formations that line the riverbed.

The name comes from ancient Sanskrit words meaning smoke cascade, describing the thick mist created by water hitting rocks. This term has been used for centuries to capture the distinctive feature of this location.
