Parco naturale provinciale dell' Adamello Brenta

The nature reserve extends across 620 square kilometers, encompassing the Adamello mountain range, Brenta Dolomites, 48 lakes, and extensive glacial formations.

The provincial government of Trento established this protected area in 1988, making it the largest natural park in the Trentino region.

The park maintains several visitor centers that present exhibitions about local geology, wildlife, and traditional Alpine farming practices throughout the seasons.

A network of marked trails connects mountain huts and observation points, providing opportunities for hiking, climbing, and wildlife watching across different difficulty levels.

The reserve hosts a population of brown bears, reintroduced in 1996, and contains the Adamello glacier, one of the largest ice formations in Europe.
