Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque extends across 80,000 square meters with four minarets, a central dome, and space for 10,500 worshippers at once.

The construction of this religious edifice concluded in 2015 during the reign of Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, who governed Oman until 2020.

The mosque maintains separate prayer spaces for men and women, with the main hall positioned on the upper floor and specific entrances for each section.

Located at the intersection of Highways 15 and 31, the mosque provides extensive parking facilities covering 30,000 square meters for visitors and worshippers.

The prayer hall features a substantial chandelier suspended from the central dome, illuminating the light-colored carpeting throughout the space.
