Delovoy Tsentr, Moscow Metro station on the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Line
Delovoy Tsentr is an underground metro station in the Presnensky District that serves Moscow's rapid transit system. The station features an island platform approximately 164 meters long and 15 meters wide with supporting columns, designed to handle passenger flow on both sides of the tracks.
The station opened on February 26, 2018, as part of a new line connecting important sections of Moscow. Its deep underground placement was chosen to provide protection from surface conditions and support the growing transit demands of the city.
The station's name, meaning Business Center, reflects its location near Moscow-City and the surrounding office district. The design and layout show how the space serves the daily needs of commuters moving between residential areas and work spaces.
The station has clear signage and open spaces that make it easy for travelers to find their way around. It connects to ground-level walkways that link to neighboring stations, allowing passengers to transfer between lines without going outside.
The S-shaped curve of the tracks under the city extended travel times but allowed for the construction of large and comfortable stations along the route. This design feature is a distinctive aspect that becomes apparent when riding through different parts of the city.
