Al-Qassim, Administrative province in central Saudi Arabia

The Al-Qassim province extends across 58,046 square kilometers of Saudi Arabia, containing more than 400 settlements within its desert landscape.

The region functioned as a critical stop along the Zubeida road during the Abbasid era, connecting pilgrims from Kufa in Iraq to Mecca.

Traditional markets throughout Al-Qassim display local products, with dates from eight million palm trees forming the central focus of regional commerce.

Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport connects the province with international destinations, including Egypt, Turkey, and Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The province maintains the largest camel market in the world, drawing traders and buyers from across the Arabian Peninsula.
