Aşık Veysel Recreation Area

Aşık Veysel Recreation Area is a large public park with green spaces, walking paths, and multiple sports facilities spread throughout the grounds. The site includes an artificial pond, basketball courts, tennis courts, a small football field, and ample parking for visitors.

The facility was initiated by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in 2008 and opened to the public in September 2010. Its creation was part of broader efforts to provide more recreational and sports spaces for the community.
