Belle Isle Marsh Reservation, Nature reserve and state park in East Boston, United States.

Belle Isle Marsh Reservation spans 350 acres of coastal wetlands, featuring salt marsh plants, marine life, and numerous bird species along Boston Harbor.

In 1628, William Brereton received the land grant for what was then Susana Island, which later became known as Hog Island before its current designation.

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation maintains this last salt marsh in Boston Harbor as a testament to environmental preservation.

The reservation opens daily from sunrise to sunset, offering marked trails, an observation tower, and designated parking areas at 1399 Bennington Street.

The salt marsh ecosystem functions as a natural buffer against coastal storms while storing carbon particles in its soils indefinitely.
