Villain, Wooden roller coaster in Aurora, US
Villain was a wooden roller coaster at Geauga Lake amusement park near Aurora, Ohio. The ride ran on a large wooden frame structure with a layout that included multiple hills, banked turns, and drops spread across the park grounds.
Villain was designed by Custom Coasters International and opened in May 2000. The park closed in September 2007, and the coaster never operated again after that point.
Villain drew riders who wanted the classic feel of a wooden coaster but with a more modern layout than older rides in the region. Its presence helped define the park's identity during the Six Flags era.
The coaster was easily reached from the main paths inside the park and did not require a long walk from the entrance. Since the park closed in 2007, the ride is no longer accessible to visitors.
Villain featured a trick track section where the rails shifted sideways while the train continued moving straight ahead. Most riders did not see it coming, which made it one of the most talked-about moments on the ride.
