Ciudad Banesco, Banking headquarters in Colinas de Bello Monte, Venezuela.
Ciudad Banesco is an office building and corporate headquarters in the Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Baruta area of Caracas, Venezuela. It stands along the Francisco Fajardo highway and houses the main banking operations of Banesco under one roof.
The complex was completed in 2004 by bringing together four separate Banesco offices that had been spread across different parts of the city. That move changed how the bank ran its day-to-day operations from that point on.
The building takes its name from Banesco, a major Venezuelan bank that made this location its main administrative center. The site reflects the economic importance of this institution to the broader region.
The building sits directly along the Francisco Fajardo highway, making it straightforward to reach by car or public transport. Visiting on a weekday during daytime hours gives the best sense of the place in operation.
When it opened, the building was among the first in Venezuela to use elevators that automatically cut power during idle periods. This kind of energy management was rare in large buildings across Latin America at that time.
