Cavalry Tank Museum

The Cavalry Tank Museum displays about 50 armored vehicles from different countries and periods, including tanks, self-propelled guns, and specialized military machines. The collection shows how tank technology developed and was used in various conflicts.

The museum was founded in 1994 and preserves vehicles that saw action in various wars. The collection documents the history of armored warfare and its role in regional military conflicts.

Memory Hill within the museum contains military artifacts and souvenirs representing every regiment of the Indian Army's Armoured Corps through the generations.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday and is located in Maharashtra with good access by public transport. Wear comfortable shoes as vehicles are displayed outdoors and the visit takes a few hours to enjoy properly.

The collection includes captured enemy tanks from wars in the region as well as rare foreign vehicles like a Japanese Type 95 and a German armored car. These pieces show how tank technology spread across different countries and conflicts over many decades.
