Cavalry Tank Museum, Military museum in Ahmednagar, India
The Cavalry Tank Museum exhibits 50 armored fighting vehicles, including tanks, self-propelled guns, and specialized military vehicles from different periods and nations.
Established in February 1994 by the Armored Corps Centre and School, the museum preserves military vehicles that participated in battles at Cambrai, Somme, and Flanders.
Memory Hill within the museum contains military artifacts and souvenirs representing every regiment of the Indian Army's Armoured Corps through the generations.
Located in Maharashtra state, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an entrance fee of 50 rupees per person.
The collection includes captured Pakistani tanks from the 1965 and 1971 wars, plus a Japanese Type 95 Ha-Go light tank and German Schwerer Panzerspähwagen.
