Beijing Aerospace Flight Control Center

The Beijing Aerospace Flight Control Center operates from a complex known as Aerospace City, managing spacecraft operations and communication with astronauts in real time.

Established in 1996 to support Project 921, the center became a fundamental component for coordinating China's manned space missions and lunar exploration programs.

The center maintains an educational program that introduces Chinese students to space science through guided visits and demonstrations of aerospace technologies.

The facility contains specialized training areas, including vacuum chambers, centrifuges, and water tanks for preparing astronauts before space missions.

Four Yuan Wang tracking ships work in conjunction with the center to maintain constant communication with spacecraft during their orbital operations.
