Trode Khangsar, Buddhist monastery near Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, China
The three-story temple features a main hall supported by eight pillars adorned with paintings depicting deities and religious symbols.
The Great Fifth Dalai Lama ordered the construction of Trode Khangsar monastery at the end of the 17th century near the central Jokhang Temple.
The monastery holds significant wood printing blocks used for producing Dorje Shugden fulfillment ritual texts written by Ganden Jangtse Serkong Dorje Change.
The temple operates under management of Riwo Choling Monastery and maintains daily prayer ceremonies conducted by resident monks for visitors.
The monastery walls display extensive murals illustrating the various incarnations of Dorje Shugden, including representations of Manjushri and Sakya Pandita Kunga Gyeltsen.
