Meiling Palace, Villa near Purple Mountain in Nanjing, China.

The Meiling Palace features two main floors, a basement, and a mezzanine, with exterior walls decorated by double eaves and green glazed tiles.

Built in 1934 as a gift from Chiang Kai-Shek to his wife Soong Meiling, the villa later served as an official residence after World War II.

The villa exhibits Soong Meiling's paintings in the basement and contains a private chapel on the second floor, reflecting her artistic and religious interests.

Visitors can reach the palace via Metro Line 2 to Xiamafang Station or bus number 34, with entrance tickets costing 30 yuan.

More than one thousand phoenix carvings adorn the glazed tiles of the villa, while the surrounding trees form a necklace pattern when viewed from above.
