The Memorial of Meiyuan Xincun consists of four preserved buildings containing exhibition rooms with photographs, documents, and objects from that period. The rooms are arranged to help visitors understand the working conditions and daily life of that time.

Between May 1946 and March 1947, this location served as a residence and negotiation center for Communist Party delegates led by Zhou Enlai. During this time, important discussions between different political groups took place here.

The buildings display traditional Chinese architecture with exhibition spaces that show how this location functioned as a meeting point for important political discussions. Visitors can see how the rooms were used and understand the role this place played in modern events.

The site offers guided tours in multiple languages, with detailed explanations about the historical significance of each room and display piece. It helps to allow extra time to fully follow the detailed information presented in the exhibitions.
