Jinling Hotel

The Jinling Hotel is a modern high-rise with 37 floors rising approximately 110 meters (361 feet) in the city center. The building contains nine restaurants serving international and regional cuisines spread across different levels.

The hotel opened in 1983 and was briefly China's tallest building before being surpassed in 1985. This period marked an important moment in the city's modern architectural development.

The name draws from Jinling, an old designation for Nanjing that reflects the building's connection to the city's past. You can see this reflected in the traditional design touches scattered throughout the interior.
