Nihondaira Digital Tower

The Nihondaira Digital Tower is a broadcasting facility in Shizuoka Prefecture that transmits digital television signals across the surrounding region. Built in 2005, the structure stands on elevated terrain and features a distinctive modern design that can be seen from considerable distances.

Taisei Corporation completed the tower in 2005 as part of Japan's transition from analog to digital television broadcasting. This project represented a major step in modernizing the broadcasting infrastructure of Shizuoka Prefecture.
