本覚寺

Bonkakuji Temple is a Buddhist monastery in Suruga-ku featuring a central hall, traditional gardens, and multiple auxiliary buildings spread across spacious grounds. The temple was established in 1330 by Nichi-i, a follower in the Nichiren lineage, after years of spreading Buddhist teachings throughout the region. This founding event marked the creation of this religious institution in the Ikeda area.
