TWIN MESSE SHIZUOKA

Twin Messe Shizuoka is an exhibition center with two main buildings providing 11,900 square meters of exhibition space, including a large hall spanning 5,400 square meters. The facility houses multiple event halls and meeting rooms spread across its south building, central wing, and north building to accommodate different types of gatherings.

The facility opened in 1982 on the former site of the Kanebo Shizuoka Factory. It received its current name in 1996 following the construction of the north building.

The venue hosts the annual Shizuoka Hobby Show along with professional wrestling events, concerts, and trade fairs that showcase regional products and innovations. These gatherings draw people interested in hobbies, entertainment, and local industries to this central gathering place.

The complex provides 587 parking spaces in a multi-story parking structure and 189 additional underground parking spots for visitors arriving by car. Direct bus service runs from the north exit of Shizuoka Station to the facility, making public access convenient.

The site was developed on the former grounds of a major Japanese textile manufacturer, transforming an industrial location into an events destination. Many visitors find this industrial heritage interesting as it connects the location's past with its current role.
