Al Hasan Mosque, Islamic mosque in Budaiya, Bahrain
The mosque features twelve domes, including one central dome surrounded by four medium domes and seven smaller ones, along with two 55-meter Ottoman minarets.
Muhammad bin Yusuf Al Hasan initiated the construction of this religious structure, which was completed on May 14, 2018, after collaboration with Turkish architects.
The building incorporates materials from multiple countries: teak doors from India, carpets and chandeliers from Turkey, and fiberglass domes from the United Arab Emirates.
The mosque contains two prayer halls accommodating 2,200 worshippers, a Quran memorization center, event spaces, and housing facilities for religious staff members.
Since January 2022, the mosque has extended its accessibility by offering guided tours to visitors of all religious backgrounds.
