Mohan Park

Mohan Park is an urban park in Solan that spreads across hilly terrain and includes terrace gardens and green spaces. The grounds feature circular walking paths with exercise equipment and benches positioned along routes for visitors.

The park opened in 1980 and was built by Mohan Meakins Breweries to provide residents with an accessible outdoor space. The project was part of an effort to create community areas in the mountain region.

The park displays sculptures with local meaning, including a Shiva statue and a representation of Himachal belle. These artworks reflect the artistic traditions of the region.

The park provides separate areas for children's activities and features walkways that are easy to navigate on foot. Visitors should bring comfortable shoes since the paths lead through hilly areas.

During winter months, the park's elevated location allows for extended hours of natural daylight throughout the day. This makes the place special for walks during the darker season.
