Nemo & Friends SeaRider is a simulator ride in Tokyo DisneySea where guests board fish-shaped submarines. The motion-based theater system immerses riders in marine environments from the Finding Nemo films with detailed scenery and interactive elements.
The ride opened in May 2017, replacing the previous StormRider attraction at this location. It brought advanced simulation technology to create underwater exploration experiences for guests.
The Marine Life Institute setting weaves together ocean conservation themes with fictional technology. Visitors experience how the place balances education about marine life with entertainment.
Each ride experience varies due to randomized scenarios and character interactions. Visiting multiple times lets guests discover different versions of the underwater journey.
The submarine vehicles use Art-i-FISH-al Intelligence to simulate realistic fish movements. Overhead screens create a fully immersive underwater view that surrounds passengers.
